Alternating coloured lines on horizontal list fields

Quick suggestion - when using a tablet in horizontal orientation (and sometimes in portrait too) the checklist field can be hard to use because there's a long space between the text and the checkbox. Could this field have an alternating light-grey background or something similar on the rows to make this visually clearer?
